Swarna has a unique production setup where a new concept has evolved that of production, training, and harnessing manpower towards finesse and productivity.
We at Swarna have told our story through an amalgamation of art, heritage, and culture in our work.
‘Swarnodyama’ is a training program based in Udupi where we train craftsmen from different parts of the country over a span of two years. Since 1995, the training program has broken gender, language, and knowledge barriers by welcoming people from all walks of life.
This concept crossed the boundaries with its universal appeal of creating an opportunity to learn and work. We have always believed in educating and creating employment for people who have a passion for art.
Swarnodyama also employs rural women helping them build up a career in jewellery design making. It is one of its kinds that have emerged as a training school for aspiring craftsmen. In this unique training centre, our craftsmen and goldsmith undergo continuous training where they get to train from learned artists and are allowed to experiment with new designs.
The small-scale industry that we established by the help of Karnataka State Financial Corporation is one of its kind that has aided several workers to become self-dependent, as the machinery and equipment are bought in their name. The modern machinery and equipment are the reason for our low wastage. We build trust with our customers because our workers are skilled in their profession and are dedicated to the art of jewellery making.
